The Carnac Stones - A exceptionally dense
collection of megalithic sites in Brittany in
Northwest France,consisting of stone
alignments( rows), dolmens(stone tombs),
tumuli(burial mounds), and single menhirs
(standing stones). Most of the stones were
erected during the Neolithic 3,300 BC, but
some date back to around 4,500 BC.
